There are other opt-in email services - why did you start this one and why should I participate in Opt-In World? Good Question. There are already several companies that provide a similar service.
The problem is that many people who have used these services were not really satisfied with the results. We think there is room for real improvement and are confident that Opt-In World will offer a better service and can do a better job.
Since we have been in the business of providing opportunity seeker mailing lists since 1998, we think we understand a little bit about what people are looking for and how to make this service one that is worthwhile for everyone - both subscribers and advertisers.
I am also a little ticked off at all of the flim-flam bogus offers by unscrupulous purveyors of email addresses. How many times have you received advertising offering millions of opportunity seeker email address on CD? Honest merchants and business people who are new to the net often buy these worthless email addresses and sometimes get into serious trouble.
So, there is a need for legitimate opt-in email lists...there really are people who are looking to make extra money and start businesses and there are legitimate businesses who are actively looking for good people...who desperately need to recruit good people.
What do I receive? You'll be eligible to receive our low-volume marketing newsletter. In addition, you'll be eligible to receive opportunity offers. The major difference is that you'll receive opportunity offers because you asked for them not because someone harvested your email address from your web site or some newsgroup or other bogus source. The newsletter will offer tips that you just won't find anywhere else including valuable online marketing resources that are crammed full of real money saving stuff and real Internet insider secrets.
When will I start receiving opportunity offers? We anticipate that It will normally take from a few days to a couple of weeks on the average. As this service is new, the response time may vary until people have a chance to hear about Opt-In World. We are accepting applications from potential affiliate partners who want to help us advertise at this time. I expect that the our service will grow quite rapidly as a result.
How will I know if email I receive is from this opt-in list? Opt-In World will require that everyone who mails to our subscribers identify themselves and where they obtained your address. You'll know immediately that the email in your box is something you've asked for.
If I want to discontinue receiving email, is that easy to do? Yes, just click on the unsubscribe link at the end of this page.
If I subscribe as an opportunity seeker, can I also be an affiliate? In other words, since I have a website, can I also allow people to sign up to receive opportunity offers? Yes. This is a completely open process. We want to encourage people to contribute and of course earn money by being an affiliate.
Can I opt-in without paying anything...is there any cost or obligation that I should be aware of? No. It is absolutely free to opt-in if you want to receive opportunity offers, and of course, our newsletter. It is also free to join if you have a website and want to be an affiliate. We only ask that you be open and sincerely interested in receiving income and/or business opportunity offers.
Who will send out opportunity offers to subscribers? Opt-In World will send email to our subscriber list on behalf of registered business people, businesses, sales representatives, Network Marketing Reps, executives, and entrepreneurs who are actively seeking to recruit new employees, distributors, employees, contractors, etc. Advertisers are asked to register with us and provide us with a copy of their email script. They will also be required to identify themselves to you as an Opt-In World Advertiser.
If I receive an opportunity offer, what do I do? You have the option to respond but you are not required to respond to any advertiser who has an opportunity to recommend. If you do receive an opportunity that looks interesting, of course you can follow-up directly with the person who contacted you.
What about privacy? Will advertisers be able to contact me by phone or some other way? Opt-In World does not require that you provide a telephone number or contact information other than your email address. Therefore, if you don't provide an advertiser with your telephone number or other information, they will not have it. TIP: If you wish to keep your primary email address confidential, then you might consider obtaining a temporary email address with Hotmail, Yahoo, or some other free email service.
What happens if I want to remain active as an opportunity seeker, but wish to discontinue receiving email from an advertiser who has previously sent an offer to me by email? Normally, you can receive a maximum of two emails from an advertiser. We will suggest that they have the option to send up to two emails simply because it is easy for recipients to accidentally delete an email before it is read. Even after receiving the first email, you may ask the advertiser to place your address on their remove list. We ask that advertisers honor any remove requests immediately.
